THANK YOU to everyone who helped bring joy to 218 children and their families this Christmas through Santa’s Caravan 2021! Our volunteer elves organized and purchased coats and other essentials throughout the year, connected with school counselors and spent time getting to know our families with one on one meetings to personalize their wish lists, ordered and packed food boxes for both the meet and greet visit and the winter breaks, adopted angels and shopped in person or online, checked each child’s gifts (sometimes twice), wrapped with care and love, arranged for pick-up and delivery, posted or shared this ministry with others, supported in prayer, and so much more. This labor of love is truly a combined effort of so many in our congregation and community, and we give thanks to God for the ways we have been able to partner and work together to share love with others this season.
Santa’s Caravan is an all volunteer organization managed by Heritage Presbyterian Church but funded by individuals and sponsors both within and outside our community. Our goal is to provide presents for local children in need of Christmas cheer. We work hand in hand with local schools. Please contact your local school counselor for assistance.
